While the blue skies & boat shows have been teasing us, I don't think everyone in the family is quite as keen as I am to get away on the boat; Lisa and I had talked about maybe heading out for the new (last year) BC 'Family Day' statutory holiday, but it's already here and we were both thinking it was a couple of weeks away! Several members of the Langley Power Squadron met up down at the Seattle Show, so we had a chance for some great visiting. We were the lucky winners of a pair of tickets and a Three Sheets NW t-shirt (very nice btw), compliments of TSNW. Another boat on our dock at PRM -Cicero, a C&C 34- was in need of another crew member for the winter race series, and Drew asked me aboard. Our first race of the year included a great start... followed by bad luck of lost/confused winds. BUT... a bunch of great guys aboard and by walking a hundred feet further down the dock, I'll be able to tie in a boat check of SV in the same drive down. Check.
