Things will definitely change as we near the end of this years boating 'season'. With Bob, winterizing meant dropping the mast, trailering her home to the side of the house, and doing any mechanical servicing/maint. items/project work on dry land. Now with Volti, I finally get to experience the full meal deal of year round - boat in water- care. We're planning at least 1 more get-away, so we'll see how the weather holds out as I begin to create my end of season 'list'.
It's been a while since I've made any entries here. While we've done many daysails, we haven't really had the chance to do any overnight trips lately. Part of filling up our time has been getting the new addition to our family -Charm- used to life in the family household. Charm is a Corgi/Lab cross that we picked up from a rescue society in mid September. One of the caveats to completing the adoption process will be that we can get her comfortable with the boat. Fingers crossed, because she's a cute pup for sure.
Ask for more space and what do you get? More time spent cleaning out and organizing it!!! Tune in here for more rants and ponderings from my 'man cave'
